Trade
Buy and sell creator tokens on a transparent, on-chain bonding curve.
How pricing works
Every creator token on People.market is priced by a public bonding curve. Buying pushes the price up along the curve; selling brings it back down. Because the curve is mathematical and fixed, the price at any moment is fully predictable from the current supply — there is no hidden markup, no counterparty, no spread beyond the platform fee.
Buying a token
- Connect your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack).
- Open a creator's token page and see the current price, curve progress, and community stats.
- Enter the amount you want to spend in USDC. The interface shows the number of tokens you will receive and the price impact before you confirm.
- Confirm the transaction. It settles on Solana in seconds.
Selling a token
You can sell back to the bonding curve at any time during the launch phase. The contract calculates the USDC you receive at the current curve price. After graduation, you sell on the open market through Raydium.
After graduation
Once a token completes its bonding curve, it moves to a Raydium liquidity pool. Trading after that point works like any on-chain token — you see standard order-book or AMM pricing, price charts over time, and standard DEX fees on top of the platform fee.
Fees
- Platform trading fee (launch curve): 1% on buys and 1.25% on sells, always shown before confirmation.
- Platform fee (post-graduation on Raydium): around 0.75%, split across the creator, the platform, and the liquidity pool, in addition to Raydium's standard pool fee.
- Solana network fee: a fraction of a cent, paid to the blockchain, not to People.market.
Important
Token prices are volatile. They can fall as well as rise. Nothing here is financial advice. Please read the Risk Disclosure before you trade.
