This Privacy Policy explains how People.market ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the People.market website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this Policy.

• Information you give us: name, email, social account handles connected via official sign-in, messages, and any content you post. We do not collect government identity documents — creators are verified through social sign-in only.
• Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, operating system, pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, and interaction data.
• Wallet and transaction data: your public Solana wallet address and on-chain transaction history. Note: blockchain data is public, permanent, and outside our control.
• From third parties: social platforms when you connect them, analytics providers, and public blockchain data.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.

• To operate and secure the Services, process transactions, and manage your account.
• To verify creator identities and prevent fraud, impersonation, and market manipulation.
• To distribute task rewards and manage community pool claims.
• To provide customer support and respond to your queries.
• To send you product updates, announcements, and, where you have consented, marketing communications.
• To improve the platform, fix bugs, and conduct analytics.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis: performance of a contract with you; your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services; and legal obligation.

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• Service providers: third parties who process data on our behalf, including hosting, analytics, and support, under data-processing agreements.
• Legal and safety: where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or others.

• Public blockchain: on-chain activity is by design visible to anyone. We are not responsible for public blockchain data.

People.market is a global platform, and we may process your data in countries outside your own. Where we transfer data internationally we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet legal, accounting, and audit requirements. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it. On-chain data is permanent and cannot be deleted.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for your wallet security and credentials. We will never ask for your seed phrase.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access your data; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; port your data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact support@people.market. We cannot alter or delete data recorded on a public blockchain.

The Services are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy and will post the revised effective date. We will notify you of material changes by email or platform notification where required.
